Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett (Canadian actress) is well-known for her role in films like Apartment Hunting' and Men with Brooms'. She was born in Spalding (Saskatchewan) and then relocated to Alberta, Canada where she graduated from high school. In her teens, she became interested in acting. She attended Montreal's National Theatre School to continue her acting training. In Moscow, she was also enrolled in the Moscow Theatre School. In 1996 she was an actor in the Canadian series called "The Rez." Also, she appeared on series like Ready or Not' and Forever Knight' that year. In the late 1990s, she made her film debut in the form of the film "Papertrail" and then acted in films like "Men with Brooms" and "Cypher." She also played the supporting roles in shows like 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery,' and Blue Murder. She was still appearing in films through the 2000s. However, her film appearances were less than her TV ones. The actress also played the role in the role of Colleen Blessed in the 1998 Canadian drama series "Power Play. The show ran for 26 episodes and received both critical and commercial praise. The actress was nominated for the 'Gemini Award' for her role in the show. Jude Lyon Matchett became her first child in June 2013. But she did not reveal the name of her son’s father. According to some sources the father of her son was her ex-boyfriend. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke in the late 1990s and they started dating. They were finally married in 1998. The marriage, however, did not last long and the couple divorced in the year 2006.
