Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz (pronounced NOH-vitch) is an Canadian actress from Canada. Most well-known is her roles on ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress was born Maya Hartwell. Recently, she was seen as Sandy in the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz is from Polish descent and spent a year in Poland in the 9th grade. She lived with her aunt in Poland, and attended Jelenia Gola school. She later went on to study at Vancouver Film School. After her brother introduced her the Pulp Fiction, she became attracted to acting. In 2002 she began her first appearances on the TV series Jeremiah. She did a brief appearance in John Doe's TV series. From 2007 to 2009, she played the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. She was in Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original movie, in the year 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a regular of the series) in the telenovela Caprica which starred Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. Hellcats was her next appearance. In 2012, she was a guest star in Jane Espenson's second season of her web series of romantic comedy, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the show Continuum She also appeared in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno was originally film in 2012. It premiered internationally in 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It was released on February 20 the 20th of February, 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season Netflix thriller You.
