Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kuniz was born Milena Kuris on the 14th of August, 1983 in Chernivtsi. Kunis, then seven years old, immigrated to America along with her parents Elvira and Mark Kunis. Later, she settled in Los Angeles. It was not an easy beginning for the Kunis families, who came to their new home with just $250. However, Kunis parents, who each gave up their professional lives to uproot themselves and move to the United States, were determined to create an easier living for their kids. Mark, who was a mechanical engineer, landed a job as Uber's driver. Elvira had previously taught physics in Ukraine and eventually owned the pharmacy. Kunis admitted that he didn't understand American culture at first. "I did not understand the American people. I didn't understand the language. The first sentence in my essay for college admission was "Imagine being blind and deaf at the age of 7". And that's the experience I had when I moved to America. But it was not a difficult transition. Milena Markovna Kunis was born the 14th of August, 1983, to Mark Kunis and Elvira in Chernivtsi, Ukraine. She has an elder brother. Her mother is a pharmacist as well as an instructor of physics. Her father is mechanical engineering by profession. He also works as a taxi driver. The family relocated to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary School was her first choice of school. She started acting classes at the age of nine. After being a part of commercials, she was cast in her first TV role, on Days of Our Lives' 1994. She landed her first big role in 1998 as Jackie Burkhart on the hit sitcom 'That's 70s Show'. After receiving rave reviews, she was asked to play the role of Meg Griffin on animated sitcom 'Family Guy'.
