Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25 in 1968. She is a Canadian actor, singer and musician. She is most famous for her performances in the American television series Law & Order (where she was Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She has also appeared in films like RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted and also in the indie film Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class The Acting Class, which she also co-wrote and directed. Hennessy was a native of Edmonton, Alberta. John Hennessy her father was an executive in sales and marketing. It required frequent travel that led to numerous family moves. Maxine Hernnessy, Maxine's mother and secretary, died in 1982. Eleanor her paternal grandmother in Kitchener (Ontario) played a part in raising her daughter. John Paul Hennessy Jr. Her younger brother is Jacqueline Hennessy the identical twin who is a journalist in a magazine as well as a host on TV in Canada. Hennessy has Irish as well as French, Swedish, Italian and Swedish heritage from her father. She also has mostly Ukrainian Roma and Austrian heritage from her mother. She was a graduate of Grand River Collegiate Institute and Stanley Park Senior Public School. Hennessy as well as her sibling were first actors when they appeared as twins in the 1988 film Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, Gillian Anderson's sister, has stated that she was shortlisted for The X-Files for Dana Scully's part. Hennessy also played the part as Dr. Marie Lazarus on RoboCop 3. In 1993, Dick Wolf signed Hennessy to the role as Claire Kincaid assistant district attorney in the show Law & Order. She played the role for three seasons before she was fired in the year 1996.
